Requirements
  • 6-7 years of relevant work experience in senior account management within an agency or publisher environment
  • The highest level of organisation and anticipation. Bigger picture thinking is a must
  • Understanding of Sales, Creative and Production processes
  • Strong personality and ability to manage demanding client relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills over email and phone
  • Attention to detail; thorough, accountable, excellent follow-through
  • Problem solving, analytical skills and resourcefulness
  • Able to work independently and effectively is a must
  • A go-getter and time-efficient individual
  • European language is advantageous but not essential
Responsibilities
  • You will be the day-to-day client contact, building and maintaining effective relationships by being a true partner to clients. Clients should trust your opinion/counsel and see you as an extension of their team
  • You have a track record of managing high-level / top tier accounts, confidently leading conversations and delivering projects end to end
  • You take responsibility and accountability for the work and the process on each project - you are the go-to, both internally and externally
  • You display strong working relationships with the Hypebeast team - you are a central cog and a vital part of the everyday operation, showing strong campaign judgement and giving clear and honest feedback to teams
  • You can manage and lead a team of Account Managers and Coordinators, guiding them through their campaigns and acting as a senior escalation point if required
  • You have a top level understanding of your team's campaigns as well as your own and can quickly report back to senior management
  • You will have a solid understanding of processes and proactively manage projects - facilitating conversations between team members, and considering how we can make the work even better at each stage
  • You will proactively consider how actions will affect clients; responding quickly to meet clients needs, resolving problems and avoiding over-commitment
  • You will constantly think about how to nurture and grow long-term business relationships with clients
  • You are competent with finance and legal processes, including SOW
  • You identify and solve problems before your peers or clients do. When highlighting a problem, you always have a view of what a solution might be with your clients brand front of mind. You talk solutions, not problems
  • You are confident and have experience of delivering complex media plans
  • Effective time management is essential. You ensure that you are delivering work on time and are conscientious with deadlines
  • You are positive, proactive and solutions-driven - always thinking one step ahead
