Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering is required.
  • At least 4 years of related water and wastewater treatment experience is required, with emphasis on plant process evaluation, design, and construction; municipal treatment experience is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong presentation and sales skills are required.
  • A Texas Professional Engineer license is required, or the ability to become licensed in Texas within 6 months.
  • Experience managing project teams and coordinating the workload and sales efforts of internal teams is required.
  • Proven project management skills managing complex, multidisciplinary treatment plant projects are required.
  • Technical experience in water or wastewater process design, treatment plant civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical design, treatment process studies, and construction contract administration and management is required.
  • The ability to build and maintain trusted-advisor relationships with internal and external clients and representatives of local, state, and federal regulatory agencies is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage, lead, and support teams of engineers delivering water and wastewater treatment solutions for municipal clients in West Texas.
  • Produce quality technical work for water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Oversee analysis, design, construction administration, and preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for water treatment, wastewater treatment, reuse, and resource recovery facility projects.
  • Manage and develop staff.
  • Grow client relationships.
  • Manage complex, multidisciplinary treatment plant projects.
  • Coordinate the workload and sales efforts of internal teams to serve clients.
Desired Qualifications
  • A proven track record of successful project execution and business growth in the water and wastewater treatment field is preferred.
  • Experience with projects in the $1 million or greater fee range is preferred.
  • Municipal treatment experience is preferred.
  • A master's degree in Civil Engineering with an Environmental concentration or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
