- The trainee must be flexible to work a rotating schedule that includes day and evening shifts as needed by the facility.

- Complete sixteen weeks of paid formal dialysis training.
- Complete an onsite clinical introduction to the unit during weeks 1 through 4.
- Complete classroom and onsite clinical instruction during weeks 5 through 10.
- Complete onsite clinical training with a preceptor during weeks 11 through 16.
- Patient-care or phlebotomy experience is a plus.
- An Associate degree or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
