The Sr. Specialist, Tab Program is responsible for the output of all assigned tab programs, under the guidance of the Manager, Tab Production. This role is a combination of project manager, business strategy consultant to help ensure strategic intent is creatively delivered and validated at various proofing stages. This role is responsible for all TAB system set ups from initial creation and following through to item/offer entry, proof uploads and action on comments, and monitoring and resolving change requests in related marketing systems. Most tab events are low in complexity, but some are high profile which require this role to partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders. In partnership, the Sr. Specialist will be required to demonstrate a high level of collaboration, ownership of decisions, and accountability driving. In addition, the Sr. Specialist is responsible for identifying process opportunities and, with support from Manager, Tab Production, alters schedules and activities to ensure timely delivery of media to market. The Sr Specialist will be responsible for engaging teammates throughout the process to ensure entries are consistent with intent and at gated intervals. Further the Sr Specialist will, as directed, help develop short- and long-term channel strategies to drive channel performance improvement and efficiency.
What you will do
• Receive tab assignment from Manager, Tab Production and enter tab number, effective dates, and other relevant information into appropriate production system, to enable the start of production steps. Push page blocks to appropriate Division/ Subdivision.
• Monitor and approve / decline offers and items submitted to tabs (print and digital), interacting often with both Pricing & Promotions and Promo Integration teams and, as needed, merchants throughout the tab creation. Work closely with Pricing & Promotions on what is needed to correct submissions, when needed, or how a submission should be made upfront.
• Actively engaged in key moments and activities within, including submission validation at Tab Level Set, being sure to highlight any known issues and seek resolution. Also actively engaged in Wireframe Review and Merchant proof moments, participating in conversations to research submission details, reference page strategy and intent, as well as interpret approved changes into concise proof notation(s) for the benefit of creative execution agency contextual reference with Sr. Analyst – Tab Program and/or Manager, Tab Production.
• Daily monitoring of new tab submissions and changes in close advisement with Sr. Analyst - Tab Program. Advise Manager - Tab Program of any issues that may impact schedules and deliverables.
• Maintain Tab Program Training Manual for the benefit of reference, as well as to onboard future new hires.
• Compile and distribute a listing of changes requested at Merchant proof, including reason for change, for historical visibility and trend reference.
• Actively participate in strategic reviews of tab process and performance and provide subject matter expertise as needed as part of technology and capability development for the tab media channel, when directed.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Operations or related field(s)
• 1 Year of experience in Marketing or related field
