Requirements
  • Associate's degree
  • 1 year sales experience
  • Direct sales experience
  • Demonstrated experience in effective lead generation and prospecting
  • Experience in high volume, cold calling environment
  • Ability to speak confidently about past performance, metrics, and successes in a direct outbound sales role
  • Experience tracking sales activity in a customer relationship management system (Salesforce is a strong plus)
  • Authorized to work for any employer in the United States; cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa
  • Remotely located within the United States (100% Remote)
Responsibilities
  • Identify and qualify high-potential leads through strategic cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach
  • Clearly communicate RoadRunner's solutions and how they address waste management challenges and sustainability for businesses
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executives to drive revenue growth
  • Maintain a pristine pipeline by diligently tracking all activities, leads, and follow-ups in Salesforce to ensure accurate data and effective sales strategy
  • Actively participate in comprehensive sales coaching and training programs to continuously sharpen skills

It relies on proprietary technology and data analysis to optimize routing and vendor oversight without owning trucks or landfills. Unlike traditional waste haulers, it uses an asset-light, data-driven approach and centralized management to improve service levels and reduce costs across a client’s portfolio. Its goal is to help clients achieve Zero Waste by boosting recycling and reducing landfill waste while lowering overall waste-management expenses.
