- Provides pediatric and adult mental health therapy as part of a large, multi-disciplinary behavioral health team in an innovative pediatric version of the integrative primary/mental healthcare model.
- Provide highest quality therapy services to patients.
- Participate in clinical team meetings with Urgent Care and MH staff.
- Maintains weekly scheduled therapy appointments.
- Completes required documentation and paperwork including clinical assessments, treatment planning, and updating of patient medical records within 48 hours of patient visits.
- Possesses excellent communication and engagement skills.
- Utilize standardized tools (PHQ9,GAD7 etc.) to identify patients that can benefit from ongoing MH services and help families navigate treatment.
- Able to make rapid assessments and follow through on recommendations in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of various mental health issues and symptoms and assist staff in UC to identify patients demonstrating mental health needs.
- Demonstrate a deep knowledge of child development and assist families and staff who verbalize concerns to determine appropriate assessment and next steps.
- Able to professionally represent PM Mental Health when meeting with local providers,hospitalsand payers.
- Able to make independent clinical decisions with a minimum of guidance.
- Demonstrates deep understanding to the intersection of mental health and physical health issues.
- Expert in various modalities ofshort-termtherapy.
