Requirements
  • At least 1 year of retail management experience.
  • The physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling, and squatting.
  • The ability to occasionally climb ladders and frequently climb and descend stairs, depending on location.
  • The ability to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Leader by directing activities required to achieve store goals, including guest service, sales objectives, operating expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising presentation.
  • Provide guests with exceptional service through relationship building, product knowledge sharing, and maintaining a clean, well-maintained store environment.
  • Foster a guest-focused team environment by driving volume and anticipating guest needs.
  • Achieve excellent guest service by role-modeling company service standards.
  • Provide timely feedback to associates, reward and recognize performance, and drive retention.
  • Hold associates accountable for financial results and performance standards.
  • Manage conflict and coach associates using company processes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Empower associates and involve them in decision-making processes.
  • Develop associates through individualized talent matching, delegation, and performance challenges.
  • Make recommendations on hiring, promotions, and terminations based on team-member performance.
  • Co-conduct and facilitate sales associate and keyholder training.
  • Meet or exceed store and individual goals and contribute to overall store goals.
  • Plan, execute, and maintain floor sets and refreshes.
  • Plan, execute, and maintain window installations.
  • Lead floor-set and refresh management.
  • Manage seasonal décor placement.
  • Co-manage product replenishment.
  • Manage mannequin placement and design.
  • Co-manage store atmosphere, including scent, music, and layout.
  • Control workflow through planning and delegation.
  • Execute task directives within designated time frames.
  • Complete opening and closing procedures.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention practices and report potential incidents to protect company assets.
  • Communicate effectively with the executive team.
  • Use weekly reporting to track, analyze, and communicate business results and determine strategies to maximize sales.
  • Interpret Home Office visual communication through partnership with the Store Leader and District Leader.
  • Partner with the Visual District Leader to oversee and manage floor-set rollouts, window sets, fixture placement, and the overall visual environment.
  • Maintain awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicate with the team.
  • Manage placement of new product.
  • Communicate product-performance observations and provide feedback to the Visual District Leader.
