Australia's most-wanted nutrition platform has arrived. September 7, 2026 · Read Time: 3 mins Teamworks Nutrition is officially available in Australia, bringing a purpose-built nutrition platform, and an Australian Food Database, to performance teams across the country. Australian dietitians have been asking for a purpose-built nutrition platform for a while now, and Teamworks Nutrition is the answer. The platform brings together meal planning, athlete communication, food logging, nutrition goals, recipes, reporting, and more into one connected platform - giving dietitians more time to focus on athletes while giving athletes more ownership over their nutrition. "There's been a real appetite and demand across this market for a nutrition specific platform, particularly with an Australian food database, which this has." Jack Hannath Manager, Customer Success, APAC | Teamworks Proven at the highest level. Australia isn't a trial run for an unproven idea. Globally, more than 160 organisations and 620+ dietitians already run their programs on Teamworks Nutrition, reaching more than 67,000 athletes - including 80% of the NFL. Dana Bielinski, who joined Teamworks after a decade as Director of Performance Nutrition at the University of Colorado Boulder, experienced that impact firsthand: "When we were managing 450 athletes, in order to provide them the best care that we could, Teamworks was an absolute game changer for us." Dana Bielinski Performance Dietitian | Teamworks Now, that same platform is available to Australian teams, with an experience built around the needs of the local market - including an Australian Food Database. More ownership for athletes & more reach for dietitians. Two Australian clubs have already been putting Teamworks Nutrition through its paces as part of the innovation beta: Carlton Football Club (AFL) and the Parramatta Eels (NRL). For Alice Sharples, Head of Nutrition for the Parramatta Eels (NRL), one of the biggest opportunities is giving athletes more ownership over what happens outside the club environment. "It's first and foremost, player ownership of their own nutrition. We only see around 50% of what they eat, so trying to get them to own up to accountability of what they do outside the environment, on their own terms." Alice Sharples Head of Nutrition | Parramatta Eels (NRL) Expand your reach without losing the personal touch. For Emma Fielding, Dietitian at Carlton Football Club, the challenge is familiar: supporting a large athlete population while still providing individualised nutrition. "It is about tailoring it to the individual athlete, but also being able to expand your reach as well. I think having 85 athletes for one dietitian, it is really difficult to get to all of them to do individual plans." Emma Fielding Dietitian | Carlton Football Club Teamworks Nutrition helps dietitians scale that support through personalised meal plans, templates, education, recipes, goals, and communication. Emma is already using templates to support recurring needs across her athletes - from travel and game days, to preseason and training - creating more opportunities to reach athletes whether they're at the club or home. Make the impact of Nutrition visible. The work of a dietitian doesn't always happen in a formal consultation. It happens in the hallway, before training, through a quick message, or in the follow-up after an athlete logs a meal. But that work can be difficult to see across the wider performance organisation. Teamworks Nutrition helps dietitians capture those interactions and turn them into meaningful data - making it easier to demonstrate the impact of nutrition across the organisation. For Alice, that visibility is one of the biggest opportunities for Nutrition in this space: "One of the biggest opportunities is making the work of the dietitian more visible. So much of what we do happens behind the scenes, and having better visibility helps the wider performance team understand the impact nutrition has on athletes." Alice Sharples Head of Nutrition | Parramatta Eels (NRL) The result: more visibility into the work happening behind the scenes, and a clearer picture of how nutrition contributes to the individual athlete, and in turn, the performance of the wider team. Nutrition, connected. Teamworks Nutrition gives Australian performance teams a dedicated platform for one of the most important parts of the athlete experience. With an Australian Food Database, a unified mobile experience, personalised nutrition workflows, and tools that help dietitians reach more athletes and demonstrate their impact, nutrition can operate as part of the connected performance environment. For athletes, that means more ownership. For dietitians, more reach and visibility. For performance teams, a more connected approach to nutrition. Teamworks Nutrition is now available in Australia. VueMotion now integrates with Teamworks / Smartabase. Published on August 12, 2026 VueMotion now integrates with leading Athlete Management Systems, starting with Teamworks / Smartabase. Movement and biomechanics data from VueMotion testing flows directly into the AMS, becoming part of the athlete's broader performance and medical record. For most performance departments, the AMS is the day-to-day operating environment, where staff plan sessions, log testing, track load and manage return-to-play. This integration puts objective movement data in that same environment, without manual transfer. What the integration does. The VueMotion x Teamworks / Smartabase integration connects athlete profiles, testing activities and results across both platforms, so movement intelligence lands inside your established operating environment automatically. In practice, that means: * Athlete and participant mapping between systems; one athlete, one record. * Import of athlete, event and testing information into VueMotion, you can set up testing in your AMS workflow, run it in VueMotion * Automated transfer of test results and biomechanics metrics back into the AMS * Support for performance, rehabilitation, return-to-play and longitudinal monitoring workflows * Consistent athlete records across biomechanics, performance and medical systems S&C coaches, physios and sport scientists will be able to see movement quality data in the same place they see everything else about the athlete, and the biomechanics record builds longitudinally, testing session after testing session, season after season. Built for the whole ecosystem, not just one platform. Not every organisation runs the same stack. For teams with proprietary platforms, data warehouses or specialised workflows, VueMotion also provides secure, authenticated REST APIs supporting both Push and Pull integration models. Enterprise customers can: * Send test and event information into VueMotion * Retrieve biomechanics results, metrics and related analysis programmatically * Trigger downstream workflows in their existing technology ecosystem * Connect VueMotion to internal dashboards, analytics platforms and other enterprise systems Whether your movement data needs to land in Smartabase, a Snowflake warehouse, or a custom coaching dashboard, it can get there. Get started. The Teamworks / Smartabase integration is available now. If you're a Smartabase customer and want to connect movement intelligence to your existing workflows, or an enterprise team wanting to build on its APIs, get in touch and VueMotion Labs Pty'll walk you through the setup. Vikings hire Andrew Healy & Trent Kirchner as Assistant General Managers. Jun 25, 2026 at 03:19 PM Writer & Editor EAGAN, Minn. - The Vikings new-look football operations staff continues to take shape. Minnesota on Thursday announced the hires of Andrew Healy and Trent Kirchner as co-Assistant General Managers, as well as Director of Football Strategy Tyler Hamblin, Football Advisor Ryan Pace and Assistant Director of Pro Scouting Azzaam Kapadia - marking the first major additions by new Vikings General Manager Nolan Teasley. The Vikings also announced the following five promotions (individuals listed alphabetically by last name): Dabness Atkins to Scouting Assistant, Chris French to Director of Football Quantitative Methods, Claire Morrison to Football Quantitative Methods Analyst, Jack Murphy to College Area Scout and Brian Schnorr to College Scout/BLESTO. "I'm excited about the staff we've assembled and confident in the talented, hardworking group we have throughout our entire football operation," Teasley said. "The additions we've made further strengthen an already outstanding staff and bring valuable experience and perspective to our organization. We're committed to building a championship-caliber team and creating an environment where everyone can do their best work in pursuit of that goal." Healy and Kirchner come to the Vikings by way of the Browns and Seahawks, respectively. Healy most recently served as the Vice President of Research and Strategy in Cleveland; Kirchner has been Seattle's Vice President of Player Personnel since 2020. Hamblin is returning to the NFL after spending a year-plus as Senior Product Success Manager at Teamworks. Prior to May 2025, he worked for nearly eight seasons with Cleveland. Vikings fans likely will be familiar with Pace, who was the Bears General Manager from 2015-21. He most recently worked in Atlanta (2022-25), where for the past two seasons he served as the Falcons Vice President of Football Operations & Player Personnel. Kapadia spent the past three years in Seattle with Teasley. Healy spent 10 seasons with the Browns, the past six in his VP role - in which he led the integration process of data and advanced insights into all realms of football operations, contributing to all roster and strategic football decisions. Healy began his tenure in Cleveland in 2016 as Senior Strategist of Player Personnel, where he worked with the Browns personnel department on player forecasting and position modeling. During Healy's time in Cleveland, the Browns mined impact players through the NFL Draft that included CB Greg Newsome II, CB Martin Emerson, Jr., LB Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah and T Jedrick Willis, among others. Prior to entering the NFL, Healy worked as a professor of economics at Loyola Marymount University for 11 years. Healy earned a Bachelor of Science in applied mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Yale University. He received his Ph.D. in economics from MIT. He is a native of Lincroft, New Jersey. View photos of new Vikings GM Nolan Teasley during his first day as a Viking at the TCO Performance Center on June 3. Kirchner spent 16 seasons with the Seahawks - where he worked with Teasley - and is entering his 27th overall season in the NFL. He has played a role in 14 playoff runs, four Super Bowl appearances (three with Seattle and one with Carolina) and two championships: Super Bowl LX after the 2025 season and Super Bowl XLVIII to cap the 2013 campaign. Kirchner most recently oversaw college scouting and pro personnel in Seattle, directing all aspects of roster construction and player acquisition. He played a pivotal part in crafting multiple roster cycles, with approximately 80 Pro Bowl selections produced since 2010 when he joined the team as Assistant Director of Pro Personnel. Among the notable draft picks are CB Richard Sherman, QB Russell Wilson, LB Bobby Wagner, LB K.J. Wright and WR DK Metcalf. The Seahawks also hit on multiple undrafted free agents, including WR Doug Baldwin, WR Jermaine Kearse and T George Fant. Kirchner was elevated to Pro Personnel Director in 2013 and two years later to Co-Director of Player Personnel - a role he held for five seasons before being named Vice President of Player Personnel. Prior to joining the Seahawks, Kirchner spent eight seasons as a pro scout with the Panthers. He helped Carolina earn two division titles, two conference championships and a Super Bowl appearance. Much of Kirchner's NFL journey has had a "full-circle" feel. He began his career in Seattle as an intern, splitting time between public relations and college scouting after volunteering at the NFL Scouting Combine. He served as a college scouting coordinator for the Commanders before moving to the Panthers. Kirchner joining the Vikings returns him home. A native of Fulda, Minnesota, he graduated from St. John's University, where he played quarterback, with a degree in business management. He teamed for two seasons with Vikings Director of Player Personnel Ryan Monnens. Kirchner and his wife Jessica have two sons, Carter and Landon. Hamblin worked for nearly eight years with the Cleveland Browns - first as a scouting assistant (2017-20), then Football Operations Coordinator (2020-22) and finally being elevated to Director of Football Operations (2022-25). In the latter role, he managed day-to-day football ops initiatives and worked closely with the high performance, equipment, player engagement, video and FIS departments, while continuing his contributions to scouting, football research and strategic roster decisions. Hamblin graduated from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and worked briefly as a high school teacher before getting his start in the NFL. The former tight end played three seasons of collegiate football for the Crimson; in 2014, he was selected to the All-Ivy League First Team after finishing the season with 11 catches for 176 yards and a touchdown. Hamblin is a native of Syracuse, New York. Pace got his NFL start in 2001 as an operations assistant for the Saints. He continued to work up through the ranks in New Orleans, moving on to scouting assistant (2002-03), professional personnel scout (2004-06), Director of Professional Scouting (2007-12) and Director of Player Personnel (2013-14). Pace grew up in Flower Mound, Texas, where he played linebacker at Edward S. Marcus High School before committing to Eastern Illinois to play collegiately. He converted to defensive end and played for the Panthers from 1996-99. He and his wife Stephanie have a daughter, Cardyn. Kapadia graduated from the University of Virginia. He started his NFL journey in Cleveland as a part-time film analyst for the Browns from 2022-23, then joined the Seahawks as a player personnel intern in July 2023. He was promoted the following summer to player personnel assistant before being elevated to a pro scout position in May 2025. IRFU chooses Teamworks for a better connected Performance Environment. Read Time: 3 mins The best teams in the world are realising that disconnected systems cost time, insight, and ultimately performance. Teamworks replaces that complexity with a single connected environment; and its Unified Mobile App puts that experience directly in the hands of athletes and staff. Gareth Quinn GM of EMEA, Teamworks Replacing legacy systems, with a single solution. The Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) has consolidated its Athlete Management, Nutrition and Team Operations with Teamworks, replacing multiple legacy systems with a single integrated solution. As another Six Nations campaign drew to a close in March, the IRFU was already looking ahead to the next phase of international competition by expanding its partnership with Teamworks to strengthen the systems that support its players and staff. The partnership will see the IRFU adopt Teamworks AMS, while continuing to use Teamworks Hub, creating a more connected high-performance environment across Irish rugby. This also includes the addition of Teamworks Nutrition enabling staff to deliver personalised nutrition and performance support to players, all within a single Teamworks app. As the demands of international rugby continue to grow, high-performance teams are increasingly seeking ways to simplify complex technology environments and improve collaboration across departments. For the IRFU, expanding its relationship with Teamworks represents an important step toward achieving that goal. Simplifying a complex performance landscape. Like many elite sporting organisations, the IRFU previously relied on multiple systems to manage different areas of its performance operation. Medical workflows, athlete monitoring, and team communication were handled across separate platforms. A fragmented approach makes it harder for practitioners across departments to access shared information and collaborate around athlete performance. The IRFU is bringing these workflows together within a single connected platform. The addition of AMS allows practitioners to reduce silos and streamline day-to-day workflows. One platform, one athlete view. From team communication and schedules to performance insights, the Unified Mobile App connects staff and athletes for a seamless experience across Teamworks products. Practitioners can see all performance data alongside Hub, Nutrition and the future potential of S&C, giving everyone everything, all in one place. The result is a more streamlined environment where practitioners spend less time navigating systems and more time supporting athletes. Supporting the next phase of Irish Rugby. The IRFU are onboarding Teamworks AMS and Nutrition immediately, with the goal of integrating the expanded platform into its high-performance programs ahead of upcoming international fixtures this summer. By consolidating multiple systems into a unified platform, the organisation is investing in technology designed to strengthen collaboration, streamline operations, and ultimately support athlete performance at the highest level.
