Responsibilities
  • Drive the architectural evolution and stabilization of the OpenStack platform as it transitions to a mature, enterprise-grade virtualization service.
  • Own the platform's end-to-end lifecycle automation to reduce manual intervention and improve infrastructure reliability.
  • Contribute to observability frameworks and telemetry pipelines to provide insights into system health and enable proactive issue resolution.
  • Develop tenant-facing functionality that simplifies how developers consume cloud resources.
  • Streamline operational processes for running virtualized workloads across tenants.
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional experience managing and operating OpenStack platforms and designing distributed software systems.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure management and automation tools including Cisco Intersight, UCS Manager, Ansible, and Terraform.
  • Expertise in Linux administration, network administration, and specialized Linux networking configurations.

Fisher doubles Cisco stake, adds 22x more Palo Alto shares in AI security play

Cisco jumps 3.7% as Nvidia's Huang names cybersecurity AI's next big opportunity

Cisco stock falls 10% as hyperscaler AI revenue mix pressures margins despite record $63.3B year
