Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations and Logistics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
  • Min 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (experience in electronics is an asset)
  • Experience in deploying manufacturing processes and equipment (NPI – New Product Introduction)
  • Experience in managing technical engineering changes (ECO – Engineering Change Orders)
  • Experience with ERP and/or MES systems
  • Experience in implementing and tracking performance indicators
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 standard
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Bilingual French and English: To serve clients and external service providers across Canada and USA
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Responsibilities
  • Deploy standardized manufacturing processes
  • Document and control operational and production engineering processes
  • Participate in the optimization of production systems
  • Implement and monitor performance indicators
  • Manage engineering changes to current manufacturing products while minimizing impact on ongoing production (ECN & BOM)
  • Analyze incidents and failures, resolve technical issues (commissioning, test benches, databases, etc.) to improve quality and optimize production while enhancing product quality
  • Develop and track performance indicator reports
  • Collaborate in design reviews and the production launch of new products and software to ensure manufacturability, testability, and reliability
  • Contribute to the writing and updating of documentation related to test benches, production processes, instruction sheets, and equipment maintenance plans
  • Support continuous improvement activities (Kaizen) related to quality control, productivity gains, and cost reduction
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of electronic board manufacturing methods and IPC standards
  • Familiarity with CE, UL, CSA, and other regulatory standards
