- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited pediatrics residency program.
- Board eligibility or board certification in Pediatrics.
- Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure.
- DEA registration or eligibility.
- Broad knowledge of pediatric medicine and child development.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.

- Conduct well-child visits, health screenings, and immunizations.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
- Manage chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, diabetes, obesity, and developmental disorders.
- Monitor growth, development, and behavioral health.
- Provide anticipatory guidance and education to patients and families.
- Coordinate care with pediatric subspecialists, schools, and community resources.
- Interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory results.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives.
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, or clinical staff as applicable.
- Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
- Provide outpatient pediatric clinic care, with possible inpatient or newborn nursery responsibilities depending on practice scope.
- Provide call coverage as determined by practice needs.
