  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited pediatrics residency program.
  • Board eligibility or board certification in Pediatrics.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensure.
  • DEA registration or eligibility.
  • Broad knowledge of pediatric medicine and child development.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
  • Commitment to evidence-based, patient- and family-centered care.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout clinical environments.
  • Manual dexterity for examinations and office-based procedures.
  • Visual and auditory acuity sufficient for patient assessment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive pediatric care to infants, children, and adolescents.
  • Conduct well-child visits, health screenings, and immunizations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
  • Manage chronic pediatric conditions such as asthma, diabetes, obesity, and developmental disorders.
  • Monitor growth, development, and behavioral health.
  • Provide anticipatory guidance and education to patients and families.
  • Coordinate care with pediatric subspecialists, schools, and community resources.
  • Interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory results.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and population health initiatives.
  • Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers, residents, or clinical staff as applicable.
  • Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards.
  • Provide outpatient pediatric clinic care, with possible inpatient or newborn nursery responsibilities depending on practice scope.
  • Provide call coverage as determined by practice needs.
