Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in place of the bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of directly related project management or administrative experience.
  • Experience organizing and defining tasks, setting priorities, working independently, and following through with minimal direction under frequent interruptions, fluctuating workloads, and conflicting time demands.
  • Ability to handle confidential material with discretion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with physicians, staff, and executive stakeholders.
  • Advanced skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks with conflicting priorities, deliver desired results on or below budget, and meet deadlines.
  • Working knowledge of preparing accurate program descriptions, budgets, and schedules.
  • Working knowledge of personal computer systems and applications using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff members, faculty, and executive leaders regarding complex issues and administrative tasks.
  • Ability to establish constructive working relationships with departmental staff through cooperative and helpful performance of duties.
  • Skill in clearly communicating complex problems and proposals in formal and informal settings.
  • Fire Life Safety Training certification from the City of Los Angeles, obtained within 30 days of hire if not held at hire and maintained through renewal before expiration.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee and administer project functions including planning, organizing, coordinating, and implementing activities to meet objectives.
  • Organize multiple tasks with conflicting priorities, deliver desired results on or below budget, and meet deadlines.
  • Prepare accurate program descriptions, budgets, and schedules.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives with relevant stakeholders while ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Track project performance and analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to share with clients and staff members.
  • Analyze information and situations, define problems, articulate logical recommendations, and recognize alternatives and their implications.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate production of reports and formulate recommendations and research on assigned subjects.
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Work with acquired, partnered, or affiliated hospitals, ambulatory facilities, and physician practices to expand existing clinical programs, develop new clinical programs, and facilitate integrated multidisciplinary programs across the provider network.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff members, faculty, and executive leaders on complex issues and administrative tasks.
  • Establish constructive working relationships with departmental staff through cooperative and helpful performance of duties.
  • Communicate complex problems and proposals clearly in formal and informal settings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional experience at a similar level of complexity, including responsibility for managing multiple or major projects.
  • Project Management Professional project management certification and training.
