About the role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic Data Engineering team. In this role, you will be a technical leader responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, analytical models, and reporting systems that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will leverage your expertise to tackle complex challenges, and champion innovative solutions.

What you will be doing:

• Autonomous Project Ownership: Take full ownership of end-to-end analytics engineering projects, from ideation to deployment and monitoring, demonstrating the ability to drive successful outcomes independently.
• Proactive Problem Solving: Identify and resolve data-related issues, optimize processes, and continuously improve the analytics infrastructure to ensure high-quality, reliable data insights.
• Data-Driven Innovation: Proactively research and propose new analytics initiatives, gathering evidence and building compelling cases to showcase their potential business value.
• Technical Solution Design: Navigate ambiguous or loosely defined problems, applying structured thinking and technical expertise to design scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions.
• Domain Expertise: Become the go-to expert in specific analytics domains, providing guidance and mentoring to team members while proactively addressing knowledge gaps.
• Business Impact: Deliver impactful analytics solutions that directly contribute to 10X’s success by driving improvements in revenue, cost savings, or operational efficiency.
• Technical Mentorship: Actively mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their growth and development through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and constructive feedback.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent education or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent 
• 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, or similar languages.
• Experience in data warehousing and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker).
• Experience in data modeling and performance optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.
