About the Role

We’re seeking a Mid/Senior Backend Developer to join one of our partner companies in the gaming industry. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend services for a greenfield product currently in active development.

This is an ongoing, 100% remote role offering long-term stability and the opportunity to work with a small, dynamic, and highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust, well-tested backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Manage infrastructure, DevOps, and the full CI/CD process, ensuring smooth deployment to AWS.
Contribute to the overall architecture and product direction from a technical perspective.
Ensure the system meets high standards of security, scalability, and reliability.
Collaborate with engineering and design teams to deliver high-quality features on schedule.

Requirements

4+ years of professional backend development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Java (minimum 2 years).
Proficiency in Spring Boot (minimum 1 year).
Experience with AWS or another cloud platform (e.g., GCP).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on scalable and secure solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote teams.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
Experience with real-time technologies (e.g., WebSockets).
Background in gaming, real-time applications, or transactional systems.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Previous exposure to startup or fast-paced environments.
Interest in architecture, system design, or mentoring junior developers.
