Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that aligns with the company's safety standards.
  • Must complete a satisfactory background check and drug screen.
  • Must have at least one year of applicable experience in commercial cooking equipment, commercial refrigeration, or commercial HVAC.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot is required; automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
  • Journeyman license and/or CFESA certification are not required but are desirable.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail.
  • Must have strong communication skills.
  • Must have a good driving record.
  • Must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Must perform repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
  • Must be able to travel extensively daily to work site locations.
  • Must work an on-call weekend rotation, with frequency varying by branch size.
  • Must be able to work in high-temperature environments, including overheated kitchens and rooftops, and be exposed to hot grease from fryers.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking kitchen equipment, refrigeration, or HVAC.
  • Communicate repair status updates with customers and the branch office.
  • Communicate parts orders with the branch.
  • Complete service calls accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked.
  • Maintain the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
  • Meet on-call requirements.

  • Automotive, electrical, installation, or mechanical background.
  • Journeyman license and/or CFESA certification.
