- Strong Unix skills to navigate Unix/Linux environments and knowledge of Unix shell basics to understand script functions.
- Experience working in an operations or production support environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on required day or night shifts.
- Ability to work various 24x7 on-site shifts, including day, night, and weekend shifts.
- Provide Level 1 or first-tier production support for enterprise applications.
- Perform technical troubleshooting, changes, and daily tasks for enterprise applications and systems.
- Work with customers and other support teams to coordinate and facilitate incident triage and timely resolution of production issues.
- Experience supporting Unix environments, including Solaris 10 and SUSE Linux 10.x/11.x.
- Experience with web servers and middleware, including WebLogic, JBoss, Apache, and tcServer.
- Windows Server administration skills.
- A BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Systems.
