Responsibilities
  • Deliver operational services to clients and internal partners.
  • Support operational relationships across the global business and engage collaboratively with internal partners.
  • Engage with external stakeholders regarding team issues, service standards, change, and risk, including clients, custodians, consultants, potential clients, third parties, regulators, and non-executive directors.
  • Complete daily processing tasks accurately and in accordance with required processes and quality standards.
  • Deliver customer contractual KPIs and KRIs, taking action to prevent failures through quality processing.
  • Support and contribute to the Operational Transformation Programme and other continuous improvement programmes, including team delivery and milestone completion.
  • Complete personal risk management activities, including control attestation, risk event reporting, and breach reporting.
  • Adhere to operational controls, reduce processing errors, mitigate fraud risk, and provide reporting or evidence to managers and senior officers.
  • Support quality processing for client assets and client money and provide reporting or evidence to managers and senior officers.
  • Maintain required training and complete mandatory training in a timely manner.
  • Support and implement FNZ conduct standards and culture.
  • Develop professional and technical knowledge and skills through training and development to meet Continuing Professional Development requirements.
  • Manage static data and pricing information across the FNZ platform.
  • Manage data sources from multiple vendors to provide timely and accurate information and optimise straight-through processing.
  • Engage with customers to maintain the existing instrument universe and support development of the client proposition.
  • Place mutual fund orders electronically or by fax before the valuation point or dealing deadline.
  • Monitor rejected equity orders and re-place them electronically or by telephone.
  • Monitor orders and receipt of manual or electronic confirmations from brokers and mutual fund managers.
  • Carry out daily production control tasks, identify orders requiring manual intervention, and place them accurately before the dealing deadline.
  • Transfer platform holdings into and out of FNZ custody daily.
  • Issue Stock Transfer Forms to fund managers.
  • Work with Electronic Transfer Solutions for re-registration.
  • Ensure FNZ Nominees accounts accurately reflect transfer positions.
  • Ensure platform assets are re-registered within KPI and SLA timeframes.
  • Investigate transfer-in and transfer-out requests.
  • Agree trades and settlements with counterparties and submit requests to brokers or CREST.
  • Process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions on managed funds, equities, and fixed-interest products within KPI targets.
  • Source corporate-action information from fund managers, data feeds, Bloomberg, custodian agents, and registry or company websites.
  • Maintain internal stock and cash ledger control accounts and clear them daily.
  • Reconcile client holdings against agent holdings during corporate actions.
  • Support client-funds cash management, including client cash transactions and ledger processing.
  • Process daily market settlement and ledger movements.
  • Support control-account exception reporting and regulatory reporting.
  • Process and settle daily client and pooled foreign-exchange trades.
  • Maintain current and accurate interest rates across supported currencies.
  • Prepare internal and external stakeholder and client cash reporting in accordance with applicable regulatory and legislative obligations.
  • Monitor investment holdings and transactions and receive manual or electronic holdings and transaction statements from brokers and fund managers.
  • Compare platform general-ledger balances and transactions against corresponding bank accounts.
  • Perform daily reconciliations of internal general ledgers through automated sweeps or manual matching.
  • Investigate reconciliation variances and breaks.
  • Resolve and clear all breaks within the required timeframe.
  • Reconcile individual clients in a short position and rectify the position in a timely manner.

This investment provides the financial strength to support the continued delivery of FNZ's transformation programme as it executes on its long-term business plan to drive profitability. The investment comes from some of the world's most sophisticated investors, including La Caisse, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), Generation Investment Management and Motive Partners in support of FNZ's continued transformation and long-term business plan. This new capital will be used to invest in its technology platform, people, products and capture the significant market opportunity ahead. In the past year, the Group has continued to strengthen its franchise and sharpen its focus on its core wealth management technology business serving large financial institutions. FNZ appoints Heukshorst as head of Client Management and Business Development. 28 August 2026 UK Reporter: Zarah Choudhary FNZ, an end-to-end global wealth management platform, has appointed Maarten Heukshorst as head of Client Management and Business Development, UK. Heukshorst brings more than 25 years of senior commercial and executive leadership experience across financial services. He has held senior roles including chief commercial officer at Centralis Group, CEO at Custodiex, and chief commercial officer for BNY Mellon Pershing EMEA, with experience in commercial strategy, client relationships, and business growth. In his role, Heukshorst will work closely with clients and colleagues across the UK business to deliver the highest standards of client service and help support the next phase of growth and development. Heukshorst will report to Andy Brodie, group head of FNZ UK. FNZ appoints Stephen Welch as group chair to drive strategy and growth

FNZ has appointed Stephen Welch as group chair. Welch will work with the board and senior management on strategy, transformation and long-term growth plans at the wealth management technology firm. Gregor Stewart, who has served as group chair since 2024, will remain on the board as chair of the risk committee and become senior independent director. FNZ Group CEO Blythe Masters said Welch brings significant experience working with boards and leadership teams of regulated, global financial services businesses. His track record in driving transformation and operational excellence will be valuable as FNZ executes its strategy. Separately this month, Advent and an investor group including HarbourVest Partners agreed to buy FNZ Bank from FNZ.

FNZ agrees sale of FNZ Bank to Advent. FNZ, the leading global wealth management platform, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell FNZ Bank to Advent, and a consortium including HarbourVest Partners ("HarbourVest"). Completion of the transaction is expected to occur in the second half of 2027, subject to customary regulatory and other approvals. The divestment is consistent with FNZ's strategy of focusing on its core wealth management technology business and serving large financial institutions at scale. The transaction supports FNZ's long-term growth ambitions by reinforcing its positioning as a technology platform provider for wealth businesses globally, including in Germany where FNZ Bank remains a key client. Following completion of the transaction, FNZ and FNZ Bank intend to continue their long-standing partnership, leveraging FNZ's technology capabilities to support the bank's continued growth and client offering. FNZ will continue to partner with wealth management institutions across continental Europe, including Germany, Switzerland and the Nordics, as they modernise their technology platforms.
