Justyna Wilczynska-Baraniak has joined Greenberg Traurig as a Shareholder to establish the Tech, Cyber, IP, and Data Practice. Wilczynska-Baraniak joined together with a team of six lawyers. Before joining Greenberg Traurig, Wilczynska-Baraniak worked for EY as a Partner from 2018 to 2026. Before that, she worked for DLA Piper as a Senior Associate from 2011 to 2015 and as a Counsel from 2015 to 2018. Earlier, she worked for SK&S as an Attorney at Law from 2004 to 2011 and for Weil as an Associate from 2003 to 2004. Global law firm Greenberg Traurig has added Phillip Aurentz as a shareholder in its Dallas office, expanding its Litigation and Intellectual Property & Technology practices. Aurentz joins from Sidley Austin. Aurentz is a first-chair trial lawyer specialising in complex, high-value litigation across state and federal courts. He has tried numerous cases to verdict, primarily involving patent disputes worth millions of dollars. His practice spans computing, oilfield services, heavy equipment, medical devices and banking sectors. A significant portion of his work focuses on intellectual property litigation, including patents and trade secrets, with nearly two decades of experience in Texas districts. Prior to law, he worked as a production gas plants project engineer. The addition continues Greenberg Traurig's growth strategy in Texas, following the recent hire of Beverly G. Oliver.
