About Our Clinic
Located in the heart of Gawler, close to Gawler Central, our clinic has built a strong reputation for compassionate care and exceptional client service.
We're open:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 6:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am - 12:00pm

About the Role
As a Casual Veterinary Nurse, you'll play an important role in supporting both our patients and our veterinarians while helping ensure the smooth running of the clinic.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, and treatments
- Preparing patients for surgery and assisting in theatre
- Monitoring anaesthesia and supporting patient recovery
- Administering medications and treatments
- Collecting pathology samples and performing diagnostic testing
- Providing nursing care for hospitalised patients
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Educating and supporting clients with their pets' healthcare needs
- Assisting with reception and client enquiries when required
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
This role offers a varied caseload and the opportunity to utilise your nursing skills across all aspects of a busy general practice.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)
- Has previous clinical veterinary nursing experience
- Demonstrates excellent animal handling and patient care skills
- Is confident supporting both medical and surgical cases
- Has strong communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Is reliable, compassionate, and organised
- Enjoys building strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Brings a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed
