JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Learning, which supports undergraduate learning with peer tutors and peer-guided study groups, is interviewing applicants for jobs as peer tutors in matrices, multi-variable calculus and differential equations.

Candidates must be undergraduates at University Park expecting to graduate in Spring 2026 or later.
Mathematics majors, engineering majors, and mathematics education majors are preferred.
Applicants are expected to have earned an A- or better in MATH 220, MATH 230 and in MATH 251 (or equivalent coursework).
We prefer candidates with prior tutoring experience or formal training in tutoring or teaching.
Tutors must be willing to provide one-on-one and small-group help to students in MATH 220 through MATH 251 and must be willing to participate in appropriate training as needed.
