- Training in automation, industrial computing, or electrical engineering.
- Experience designing and developing automated systems in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency programming Siemens programmable logic controllers using TIA Portal.
- Knowledge of human-machine interfaces.
- Knowledge of industrial networks and machine-safety issues.
- Experience with C#/.NET and SQL database management is advantageous.
- Ability to work in English in reading, speaking, and writing.
- Ability to work hands-on with equipment to conduct tests, diagnose malfunctions, and optimize performance.
- Lead the automation workstream for new industrialization projects involving assembly and inspection lines.
- Conduct technical preliminary studies and write equipment and program specifications.
- Design or validate functional and technical analyses from special-machine manufacturers.
- Program programmable logic controllers and human-machine interfaces and develop .NET software components for advanced functions.
- Participate in technical consultations and validate technology choices from special-machine suppliers.
- Monitor equipment construction at manufacturers through factory and site acceptance testing, commissioning, and final qualification.
- Validate electrical schematics and challenge failure mode and effects analyses.
- Deploy and ensure compliance with the Group's operational-technology connectivity automation standards.
- Participate in the professional network to share expertise and evolve functional standards.
- Experience with C#/.NET development and SQL database management.
