Requirements
  • 12 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 10 years of work experience with an advanced degree (e.g., Master’s/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 8 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Minimum of 10 years in product management, with a strong track record of launching and managing product releases within matrixed organizations
  • Experience working in highly technical and rapidly evolving AI/ML environments
  • Deep understanding of AI and Machine Learning concepts, with emphasis on platforms and tools that enable AI/ML product development
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML cloud stacks and large-scale enterprise systems
  • Strong background in data science, deep learning models, cloud computing, and big data technologies
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align AI/ML capabilities to strategic outcomes in financial services, payments, and card industries
  • Proven experience applying machine learning and data science to solve real-world challenges in fraud detection, credit risk, and payment systems
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation and risk management through AI/ML-driven product development
  • Proficiency in Agile development practices and experience working with Scrum teams in matrixed environments
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Tableau
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint)
Responsibilities
  • Drive the platform vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Visa’s broader data, AI/ML and business strategies
  • Identify market trends, competitive dynamics, and clients need to inform platform direction and long-term planning
  • Champion exceptional customer experiences powered by advanced AI capabilities and technologies
  • Lead cross-functional teams of product managers, data scientists, and engineers in a matrix organization
  • Translate customer needs into platform requirements and ensure successful delivery
  • Own the product definition and implementation of the AI/ML stack across both on-premises and cloud environments
  • Conceptualize, develop, and launch model-based solution and AI-powered products at the intersection of payments and technology
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability across the platform and product organizations
  • Define detailed platform requirements, acceptance criteria, and success metrics (e.g., SLAs, operational targets)
  • Apply hands‑on experience in designing cloud‑native architectures and enterprise applications on platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Lead grooming sessions and facilitate collaboration across product, data science, and engineering teams
  • Ensure platform capabilities support model risk management, onboarding, and compliance
  • Oversee platform development, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and strategic goals
  • Provide thought leadership in the Account-to-Account (A2A) product portfolio, guiding strategy and execution of model-based solutions
  • Ideate, prototype, and build business cases for new AI/ML capabilities and use cases
  • Continuously evolve platform capabilities to meet the changing needs of AI/ML practitioners and the broader ecosystem
  • Liaise with business units, product leaders, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution
  • Communicate regularly with senior leadership and stakeholders to share progress, gather input, and drive consensus
  • Represent product management in engagements with public cloud providers (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI, Microsoft Azure ML) and internal Visa teams
