Located in Victoria's Latrobe Valley near the decommissioned Hazelwood coal-fired power station, the facility will repurpose existing grid infrastructure. It marks Flow Power's first large-scale standalone battery system and its 11th project overall. The battery will use Wärtsilä's Quantum energy storage system with GEMS software for optimisation. Financing will also fund a new 66 kV transmission line to the Morwell terminal substation. Zenviron will manage construction, with technical support from Everoze, Aurecon and Aurora.
