School of Human Nutrition

Position Summary:

The student event organizer will support the coordination and logistics of the CINE Student Symposium. This role is ideal for a CINE student interested in communications, event planning, and community-based research.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with event promotion and logistics

Coordinate student registration

Support volunteer coordination before and during the event

Obtain McGill Sustainable Events certification

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

High School Diploma required. 

Be a CINE student/trainee or a involved in CINE activities

Strong interest in Indigenous Peoples’ food systems and participatory research

Strong communication skills and experience with event planning or student engagement or community outreach.
