Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, REST API development, microservice architecture, dependency injection, logging, configuration, and error handling.
  • Practical experience with PostgreSQL, relational data modelling, SQL queries, indexes, transactions, and database migrations.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, API integration, authentication flows, and frontend build processes.
  • Experience with AWS deployment and operations, including compute, networking, storage, managed databases, identity and access management, monitoring, logging, and cost-management concepts.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery tools and practices, including source control, automated testing, environment configuration, deployment automation, and release traceability.
  • Experience with observability and analytics platforms such as OpenSearch and Grafana, including dashboards, metrics, logs, alerts, and service-health monitoring.
  • Understanding of secure software development practices, access control, secrets management, vulnerability awareness, and production support procedures.
  • Previous professional experience developing backend services with C# and .NET Core.
  • Experience integrating frontend applications with backend application programming interfaces.
  • Experience deploying applications to Amazon Web Services using automated or semi-automated pipelines.
  • Experience supporting applications after go-live, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
  • Experience creating or maintaining technical dashboards for operations, analytics, or service monitoring.
Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain C# .NET Core microservices exposing secure and well-documented REST APIs.
  • Implement data persistence using PostgreSQL, including database schema design, query optimization, migrations, and operational troubleshooting.
  • Develop simple Angular frontend applications to consume exposed APIs and provide clear user interaction flows.
  • Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines for automated build, test, packaging, deployment, and rollback of cloud applications on Amazon Web Services.
  • Deploy, configure, and operate Amazon Web Services environments using appropriate managed services and cloud-native deployment patterns.
  • Manage Amazon Web Services operations, including cost monitoring, resource optimization, maintenance planning, support activities, availability, and security hygiene.
  • Install, configure, and maintain dashboard analytics solutions for cloud services using available platform-as-a-service services based on OpenSearch, Grafana, or equivalent observability platforms.
  • Support business and technical teams in defining, deploying, and improving new operational dashboards.
  • Prepare and execute production rollout plans, including release coordination, smoke testing, go-live support, monitoring, issue resolution, and post-release follow-up.
  • Monitor Amazon Web Services consumption and propose actions to reduce unnecessary costs while preserving performance and reliability.
  • Maintain cloud environments through regular reviews of configurations, access rights, backups, logs, alerts, and service limits.
  • Provide second-level technical support for deployed cloud services, coordinating with development, infrastructure, security, and business stakeholders as needed.
  • Document operational procedures, deployment steps, dashboard configurations, known issues, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in incident analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and maintainability.
Desired Qualifications
  • AWS certification or equivalent practical experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code, containerization, serverless services, or managed Kubernetes platforms.
  • Knowledge of API security patterns such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JSON Web Tokens, and role-based access control.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, code reviews, and collaborative development practices.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and take ownership of end-to-end delivery.

Hillhouse invests in Quest Global to accelerate engineering growth

Quest Global, a global outsourced engineering services provider, has secured a minority investment from Hillhouse Investment through a combination of primary capital infusion and share purchases from existing stakeholders. The transaction involves funds managed by Hillhouse Investment Management. The Singapore-based company, which employs over 21,500 people across 93 global delivery centres in 18 countries, will use the capital to advance strategic priorities and enhance its engineering capabilities for major original equipment manufacturers worldwide. Quest Global specialises in aerospace, automotive, energy and semiconductor sectors. CEO Ajit Prabhu said the investment validates the company's differentiated value proposition and growth strategy. Hillhouse is acquiring a 5% stake in Quest Global at a $4.5 billion valuation, outbidding Temasek in a pre-IPO round. AROBS acquires Quest Global Romania in all-stock deal with one-year lock-up

Romanian tech group AROBS is acquiring Quest Global Romania from Craiova in an all-stock transaction, marking the company's first acquisition paid entirely through share issuance. The newly issued shares will be subject to a one-year lock-up period. Quest Global Romania, headquartered in Craiova, employs approximately 110 specialists and provides software development, testing, embedded solutions and IT consulting services across sectors including semiconductors, healthcare and automotive. The company is part of Singapore-based Quest Global, which operates in 18 countries with over 22,000 employees. The acquisition strengthens AROBS's engineering capabilities and international presence. Quest Global Romania's management will continue under Ana-Maria Vasilescu's leadership. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of the year.
