Compensation

Salary Range: $26.28 - $39.01 / hour

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Responsibilities

Paint walls, equipment, building and other structural surfaces applying coats of paint, varnish, enamels or lacquer to decorate and protect interior and exterior surface, trimmings and fixtures of the hospital, using paintbrushes, rollers and scrapers. The Painter may be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays during emergencies.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of building maintenance experience
• Current Driving License
• Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under the CMH insurance coverages

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Prior healthcare experience
• Two (2) years of painter experience Previous experience working with plumbing and mechanical equipment
• Knowledge of tools and/or instrumentation used for troubleshooting and repair
