Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related subject is required.
  • One to two years of web page and computer program development and testing experience is required.
  • One to two years of experience with SQL scripts and data extraction is required.
  • One to two years of information technology project development, testing, and maintenance experience is required.
  • Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as SQL, Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or C Shell, is required.
  • Considerable skill in application software support, modification, installation, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting is required.
  • Considerable skill in researching and evaluating computer software is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level application maintenance support services.
  • Review and analyze application issues, prepare solutions for supervisor review and approval, and execute approved solutions.
  • Participate in testing and submit solutions to the supervisor for review.
  • Assist with updating application system maintenance documents.
  • Ensure adherence to change-management procedures when implementing application solutions.
  • Conduct business-requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business and system requirements.
  • Assist with developing project plans and conclusions based on business-requirement analysis and present them to the supervisor for review.
  • Write application code that complies with secure-coding principles.
  • Assist with the design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, and modification of application projects.
  • Conduct unit and system-integration testing to validate that new applications meet business requirements.
  • Develop detailed application documentation.
  • Adhere to application-development procedures when developing application systems.
  • Execute processes in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to control and mitigate risks.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Information technology industry certificates are preferred.
