  • Experience in the financial business / investment industry
  • Experience in administering program / project / product management tools
  • Experience as a Jira / Confluence administrator or super-user
  • Experience with advanced JIRA / Confluence concepts like project plan creation, workflow rules, roles and entitlements, centralized management reporting and etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 7+ years of financial industry experience across front office functionality along with middle (IBOR) and back office systems, services and data domains
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced Jira / Confluence concepts and functionality
  • Client engagement and expectation management across the project life cycle.
Responsibilities
  • Drive a global rollout of Jira and Confluence including creation / management of a standardized client deployment plan, client task workflows, customized client fields and standardized management reports and dashboards.
  • Meet with internal stakeholders to identify potential Jira projects and implement them creating efficiencies in the client deployment process.
  • Perform requirements gathering, business process workflows, and process improvement for JIRA/Confluence workflows and processes in place, identifying where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.
  • Conduct training for employees and new hires on the tool set regarding how to use the tools, new functionality, etc
  • Produce regular progress/status reports on the global rollout of the toolset
  • Serve as the first point of contact for our Alpha team for issues, questions, clarifications about Jira/Confluence
  • Navigate complex client relationships, build strong business relationships and manage expectations with client stakeholders
  • Contribute to the definition of a standard implementation framework and continuous improvement of the model to drive efficiencies as adoption increases
  • Become a product and platform SME on State Street's front-to-back platform
