  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering field
  • Minimum of 5 years in relevant experience (propulsion controls, calibration, and/or testing)
  • Ability to review software documents to learn and understand software
  • Demonstrated experience with calibration and DVP&R through the complete product cycle
  • Experience in problem solving
  • Strong technical research and writing skills
  • Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
  • Calibrating the propulsion system
  • Learning the propulsion software
  • Performing systems engineering
  • Developing process and tools for calibration
  • Integrating key parts of the software and calibrating various parts for the production vehicle
  • Prototype vehicle calibration and support
  • Translating vehicle requirements/functional objectives and formulating development and testing plans
  • Working with suppliers and teams to ensure successful launch and release
  • Defining, executing, and supervising design verification plans (DVP) and reporting
  • Supporting production ramp and field issue resolution
  • Providing program deliverables on time per major development milestones
  • Calibration change management (documentation of calibrations and changes)
  • Executing programs through the development process that meet or exceed objectives for performance, drivability, and customer satisfaction
