Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience -- nontraditional backgrounds are welcome here.
  • 5+ years experience writing test automation in Python and Python test frameworks like Pytest or equivalent.
  • Experience with embedded systems, including FPGAs, Petalinux, or Yocto.
  • Excellent engineering skills in a few key areas: Writing, testing, and debugging multithreaded programs. Operating, testing, and debugging distributed systems, with some understanding of technologies like Kubernetes. Using and/or deploying Linux-based operating systems. Interfacing with hardware via Ethernet, USB, serial, SCPI, etc. Working knowledge of Rust, Go, C++.
  • Experience with digital signal processing validation and verification.
  • Comfortable with disassembling and reassembling server class hardware and electrical / RF test equipment in a lab environment.
  • Strong interest in Quantum Computing and/or Quantum Physics.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, design, architect, and develop test infrastructure for complex software and hardware systems.
  • Develop and execute on comprehensive test plans for the quantum system.
  • Assist in the career development of others, providing mentorship on advanced technical issues.
  • Collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary staff.
  • Help us continuously improve how we do things.
