Requirements
- A master's or doctoral degree is required.
- An active California license appropriate for mental health therapy is required, such as Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychologist with a PhD or PsyD.
- Clinical proficiency in one or more evidence-based therapy modalities is required.
- Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act policies and best practices is required.
- Candidates must be comfortable using Chromebooks, Google Workspace, secure messaging, and related technology.
- Candidates must commit to patient and staff safety protocols.
- Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinic staff.
- Candidates must be reliable in delivering a high level of service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy to people from all backgrounds, with potential treatment of couples, families, or groups.
- Provide evidence-based and collaborative care responsive to treatment needs.
- Document all clinical notes accurately and promptly in the electronic health record platform.
- Collaborate clinically with psychiatrists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other clinical providers.
- Provide care remotely and/or in person at the Palo Alto clinic.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or interest in practicing Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
- Ability to work from the Palo Alto clinic and see patients in person.
