Mammography Technologist

Pay Range:

$31.03 - $46.54HSHS St. Elizabeth's Hospital is seeking a Mammography Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform diagnostic procedures requiring the use of equipment that produces ionizing radiation, help patients through the mammogram process while using low-dose X-ray imaging equipment to view the breast, operate mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under direction of a physician, use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients and staff. Required to float to other modalities/areas in the diagnostic services department to meet patient care needs.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelors or Associates degree required or must have completed an accredited radiology technology program.

Experience Qualifications

• 1 year experience preferred

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed Radiographer in the state of practice is required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered in general radiology and Mammography certification recommended within 24 months.
