Requirements
  • BA in data science, applied mathematics, statistics, engineering or alike.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position preferably in the entertainment/music business.
  • Fluent Spanish proficiency; speak, read, and write.
  • Proficient with SQL and one or more programming languages (Python, R, Java, HTML/CSS, etc.).
  • Experience utilizing one or more visualization tools (Looker, Domo, Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Critical and creative thinking skills.
  • Excellent written presentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Identify data sources and extract knowledge through exploratory data analysis and statistical modelling based on large volumes of data.
  • Explore data using APIs or web scraping from digital platforms and social networks to power and scale analytical products.
  • Design the infrastructure and models to create tools with advanced metrics in real time.
  • Work independently to develop business presentations and communicate it with compelling narratives to different audiences.
  • Solve specific business questions based on data, approximations and/or probabilities.
  • Interact with business managers, IT and data scientists to obtain internal data and/or solve problems.
