Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of quality management experience within chemical manufacturing, including multi-site leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Advanced quality-tool knowledge, including statistical process control, corrective and preventive action, and failure mode and effects analysis.
  • Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and build high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a multi-site quality strategy aligned with company goals and long-term growth initiatives.
  • Standardize quality systems, policies, and procedures across all facilities.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers, auditors, and regulatory agencies regarding quality matters.
  • Champion a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the division.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, good manufacturing practices, and applicable regulatory requirements including the Environmental Protection Agency, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals, and Toxic Substances Control Act.
  • Lead internal and external audits across multiple facilities and ensure timely corrective actions.
  • Maintain site certifications, regulatory registrations, and compliance documentation.
  • Oversee corrective and preventive action processes, risk assessments, and quality-system effectiveness.
  • Develop and monitor quality metrics and reporting systems that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other operational-excellence methodologies.
  • Strengthen supplier-quality programs and ensure raw-material compliance and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product quality, process capability, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor and support site Quality Managers and quality assurance/quality control teams across multiple locations.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative environment focused on proactive problem-solving.
  • Create and support training and professional-development programs for quality personnel.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Research and Development, and Supply Chain teams to integrate quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Support new-product launches through validation planning, risk assessments, and process-readiness activities.
  • Promote and maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Support additional business initiatives and projects as needed.

ITW raises dividend 7% and authorises $6B share buyback programme

Illinois Tool Works Inc. has announced a 7% increase in its annual dividend, raising it from $6.44 to $6.88 per share. The fourth-quarter dividend of $1.72 will be payable on 9 October 2026 to shareholders of record on 30 September 2026. The company's board has also authorised a new $6 billion share repurchase programme. Management will determine the timing and volume of buybacks at its discretion. Christopher O'Herlihy, president and chief executive officer, said the moves reflect the strength of ITW's business model and confidence in long-term growth and free cash flow generation. This marks the company's 63rd consecutive annual dividend increase. ITW is a Fortune 300 manufacturing company with $16 billion in revenue in 2025.
