Requirements
  • 8+ years within aerospace/manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years within quality engineering function
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and quality standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100)
  • Able to read and understand engineering documentation (e.g., drawings, diagrams/schematics, product specifications, etc…)
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, and root cause analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., IPC, ECSS)
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Engineer)
  • Previous direct experience in production or test of spacecraft systems or components
Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Analyze quality data and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain quality documentation and assist with audits and regulatory requirements
