- Three or more years of technical support experience in Windows Platform, Operating System, Virtualization, basic Networking, and System Administration.
- Experience in Windows and Windows Azure Platform services.
- Understanding of Virtualization concepts and virtual system administration.
- Familiarity with system management tools such as System Center Operations Manager (SCOM).
- Experience with Hyper-V configuration and administration.
- Azure Platform development and deployment concepts.
- Familiarity with development tools, languages, processes, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, security concepts, and operating system internals.
- Directly supports customers through telephone, email, and chat services as applicable.
- Handle technically challenging and politically sensitive customer situations.
- Gather information quickly from customers, explain customer responsibilities in resolving issues, communicate next steps and status, and inspire confidence.
- Demonstrate troubleshooting skills and provide cross-team collaboration to resolve customer issues.
- Azure domain experience is a big asset.
