Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Previous personnel or team management experience.
  • A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred or a master's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to type 35 words per minute with 97% accuracy.
  • Knowledge of the specialty drug product marketplace, health insurance claims processing, product commercialization, and working with manufacturers is beneficial.
  • Previous experience leading customer service teams is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Understand client objectives and incorporate them into program service goals.
  • Ensure that program services are executed in compliance with contracted service levels.
  • Manage the client service request queue, including completed and work-in-progress requests.
  • Implement and manage client-specific business rules.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program scope of service and service-delivery efficiency.
  • Evaluate data and provide actionable insights consistent with client objectives.
  • Monitor and provide weekly updates on items affecting the program financial forecast.
  • Prepare activity summaries for the development and review of client monthly invoices.
  • Identify talent for open positions and develop internal candidates for promotional opportunities.
  • Partner with Human Resources to maintain required program staffing levels.
  • Work with Human Resources to develop a candidate pipeline.
  • Drive team training, development, and retention.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze client-specific operational results.
  • Prepare client business review meetings using operational metrics and data insights.
  • Serve as the point of contact for program and operational queries and issue resolution.
  • Ensure that adverse events and product complaints are reported according to client work instructions.
  • Manage operational challenges using critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
  • Engage and motivate the team directly or through Program Supervisors.
  • Manage a large team that may include multiple Supervisors.
  • Accept accountability for personal and team performance.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
  • Travel as needed.
