Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in System Administration in a Corporate environment
  • Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong IT foundational knowledge and understanding of core network technologies
  • Experience deploying, maintaining, and optimizing a distributed server environment, including Windows and Linux server operating systems
  • Experience working within a global enterprise environment supporting the business needs of multiple offices in different countries and regions
  • Understanding of network technologies, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless, and firewall policies
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS
  • Working knowledge of AWS and Microsoft Azure platforms desired
  • Working knowledge Veeam desired
  • Scripting skills are a plus
Responsibilities
  • Provide third level support and troubleshooting for our network and systems
  • Manage day-to-day support of servers, SaaS applications, networking, and IT Services
  • Assist with and lead project implementations, changes, and improvements to the environment
  • Assure a high level of reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management
  • Analyze and recommend improvements to the existing environment
  • Keep up with relevant trends to optimize and enhance SmartBear environment
  • Recommend, implement, and support enterprise hardware, systems, and/or tools
  • Ensure system availability; regularly patch, upgrade, and perform backups for all systems
  • Maintain deployments & upgrades, Windows and Linux servers, as well as network infrastructure
  • Remediate vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with policies and procedures
  • Craft clear and concise documentation and knowledge base articles
  • Help to develop and maintain IT policies
  • Support, automate, and provision systems and business applications
  • Coordinate with international IT Infrastructure teams to develop global solutions
  • Recommend, implement, and support enterprise hardware, systems, and tools
  • Assist in developing the overall performance and capability of internal support teams through mentoring and knowledge sharing
  • Domestic and/or International travel may be required
  • Participate in an On-Call rotation
