Requirements
  • Master of Social Work from an accredited Graduate School of Social Work
  • State of Ohio Social Work licensure (LSW or LISW) or equivalent education/experience
Responsibilities
  • Provision of social work services to inpatients, outpatients, and their families
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments
  • Provide mental health counseling
  • Perform crisis intervention
  • Offer financial counseling
  • Engage in discharge planning

  • Link patients with community agencies
  • Analyze trends in psychosocial support

  • Oversee implementation and execution of outreach efforts
  • Evaluate all AYA services for The James
  • Act as a liaison between physicians, healthcare teams, and families
  • Identify, develop, and maintain key internal and external relationships
