Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, marketing, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of success in technology infrastructure and B2B software industries. Specific experience in automation is preferred.
  • Expertise with enterprise technologies, including major ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, etc), enterprise applications (Informatica, ServiceNow etc.) and automation platforms.
  • Deep understanding of product marketing principles and best practices, with experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies for complex software solutions.
  • Proven storyteller and history of creating positioning and messaging that supports rapidly growing product lines.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with demonstrated ability to influence and work across functions within and outside of Marketing, building relationships to drive results.
  • Strong ability to inspire and coach, with a proven track record of hiring, managing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Passionate about technology, knowledgeable of relevant trends and strong curiosity about learning new things.
  • Up to 25% travel to support sales efforts, customer meetings and industry events.
Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the overall product marketing strategy for Redwood, ensuring alignment with company goals and key initiatives to expand market share and improve customer adoption.
  • Deliver comprehensive messaging and positioning across all products, ensuring maximum impact for product releases, demand generation and sales enablement.
  • Oversee Redwood’s competitive intelligence program, including win/loss and market analysis, providing actionable insights that drive product roadmap decisions and GTM differentiation.
  • Develop comprehensive sales enablement materials, including product messaging, competitive intelligence and training for the sales teams, ensuring they are equipped to effectively communicate Redwood’s value proposition and win in competitive situations.
  • Act as the voice of the market in Redwood product development discussions, influencing the product roadmap by sharing market insights and customer feedback.
  • Contribute to creating high-impact content that communicates Redwood’s value proposition, including product demos and videos, sales pitch decks, white papers and web/digital assets.
  • Partner with the marketing team to define high impact demand generation campaigns, defining the ICP, key personas and technically accurate messaging.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives that speak to the power of our automation to establish Redwood as a trusted authority, including speaking engagements, webinars, blog posts, industry reports and media inquiries.
  • Partner with our solution engineers, technical product marketers and product managers to define compelling demo narratives.
  • Define and track key performance metrics (KPIs) for product marketing activities, continuously assessing the effectiveness of priority initiatives and making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.
  • Build, mentor and lead a world-class product marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, driving individual growth and collective success within the team.
