Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, retail operations, investigations, or multi-unit operations is required.
  • Wicklander-Zulawski Interview and Interrogation Certification is required.
  • Experience conducting interviews, investigations, and operational audits is required.
  • Multi-unit retail, restaurant, convenience store, or hospitality experience is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are required.
  • The candidate must be able to influence and build relationships with all levels of client leadership.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business reporting tools is required.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively are required.
  • The candidate must be able to drive for extended periods, walk retail, restaurant, and hospitality locations for inspections and investigations, and lift up to 25 pounds when transporting equipment or training materials.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct on-site and remote loss-prevention investigations involving theft, fraud, cash loss, policy violations, and operational concerns.
  • Travel extensively throughout an assigned territory to support client locations.
  • Perform operational, security, and compliance assessments using the company's audit platform.
  • Analyze video, point-of-sale data, artificial-intelligence-generated alerts, and exception reports to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  • Partner with store, district, and regional leadership to improve operational performance and reduce shrink.
  • Deliver coaching and training to field management on loss-prevention best practices and operational controls.
  • Prepare detailed investigative reports, executive summaries, and corrective-action recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Client Services and Operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful implementation of company solutions.
  • Maintain accurate case files, travel documentation, and activity reporting.
