Requirements
  • BS degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 1+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Passion for tackling and solving technical problems
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly
  • Proven work history of growth within an organization
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, lean manufacturing, and/or materials and manufacturing processes
  • Medical device experience strongly preferred
Responsibilities

  • Support production needs
  • Create and maintain product and process documentation
  • Monitor process and equipment performance
  • Design fixtures and implement new fixturing on the production line
  • Test processes, equipment, raw materials, and product
  • Perform process validations
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate engineering work
  • Develop specifications of a product, process, or equipment
  • Develop, characterize, and optimize processes
  • Coordinate with suppliers and external resources
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling
  • Train assemblers, quality control, and technicians
  • Comply with quality system regulations
