Job Summary:

Energy Recovery is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate full time job opening for the position of Mechanical Detailer, with the Document Control team in the San Leandro, CA facility. This position is responsible for managing and producing mechanical drawings for manufacturing in accordance to industry standards such as ASME. A suitable candidate will have prior 3-5 years of experience.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:

Create drawings for manufacturing from 3D models
Create and support 3D model library
Manage document standards for 2D drawings
Implement drawing and modeling changes under ECO process
Administrate PDM system including workflows and documentation releases
Support Document Control with ECO and production releases
Support Engineering with design reviews
All other projects and duties as assigned

Skills & Requirements:

Related degree or accreditation
3-5 years’ experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawings for manufacturing
Strong understanding and experience in engineering change management
Expertise in Solidworks preferred
Experience in Solidworks PDM preferred
Expertise in 2D drawing standards
Understanding of design for manufacturing and best practices
Working knowledge of PDM, PLM, ERP, ECO
Excellent communicator and ability to work in team
