Requirements
- Five years of experience administering Active Directory, including building and troubleshooting domains.
- Four years of experience with PowerShell and Visual Basic scripting.
- Three years of experience with IBM server hardware.
- Three years of experience with SQL.
- Knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager, VMware, Symantec Clustering, Veritas NetBackup, and identity management.
- Exposure to a corporate environment.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills for presenting findings to superiors.
- Willingness to work on call.
Responsibilities
- Administer, build, and troubleshoot Active Directory domains.
- Work scheduled shifts from 12:30 PM to 8:30 PM on all days.
- Coordinate work with the offshore team.
- Work Saturdays, with Sundays and Mondays off.
- Support file restores, on-call duties, and hotline calls for other groups in addition to Active Directory work.
- Handle ad hoc projects, including building servers according to process requirements and shipping them to an offsite location.
