  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, safety, environmental science, or industrial hygiene
  • 2-5 years’ previous experience in the health and safety field

Responsibilities
  • Leads programs for compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and requirements
  • Provides compliance specifications/recommendations to Production Team
  • Ensures accurate and timely environmental and safety recordkeeping and document management including the submission of periodic reports to regulatory agencies
  • Leads and/or assists with emergency response activities
  • Interface with regulatory and public sector safety authorities as appropriate
  • Participate in Safety Audits, JHA's and other elements of Plant/Process Safety Management integral to sites' safety performance
  • All other projects and duties as assigned

  • Some knowledge of environmental and industrial hygiene practices, first aid practices, and HAZCOM
  • Some experience conducting root cause analysis/incident investigations
