Cathode Development, Associate Engineer

Position Scope

SES is seeking a talented Cathode Development, Assocaite Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate is committed and dedicated, responsible, focused, detail-oriented, able to adjust in a fast-paced working environment, collaborate well with other staff members with a shared vision and demonstrate excellent organizational communication skills. This position will be based in our Woburn, MA location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the physical property testing of cathode materials.
• Assist in the completion of cathode experiments.
• Responsible for operating equipment and daily maintenance
• Complete other experimental matters

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials and other related majors.
• More than one year working experience in lithium batteries.
• Experience with cathode electrode fabrication is a plus (slurry preparation, coating, rolling, etc.)
• An eye for detail and dedication to quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage data in Excel, etc.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; approachable with the ability to maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a fast-moving team.
