- Overall Experience – 12 + years with IT Infrastructures
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an ICT department
- Strong technical knowledge across a range of IT areas, including hardware, software, networks, and security
- Project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and execute IT projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- ITIL or other IT service management certifications are a plus
- Sound knowledge of end-to-end IT Infrastructure architecture, Architect level knowledge is a must
- Sound knowledge of server environments both Linux & Microsoft Windows Server (Server 2016 R2, 2019) Client OS (Windows 10, 11) (MCSA & RHCSA certifications)
- Sound Knowledge of Virtualization, VMware ESXi 6 or above (VCP certification preferred) and storage technologies
- Experience in monitoring and resolving hardware issues relate to server & client hardware (HP Server hardware added advantage)
- Experience with supporting container platforms and setting up teams for container support (desirable)
- Sound understanding of ITIL concepts
- Ensures quality project delivery, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
- Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
- Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training
- Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and guideline compliance
- Communicates deadlines and goals to team members
- Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
- Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
- Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines
- Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards
- Specific experience with Nagios or OP5mon would be an added advantage
- Experience with other IT monitoring tools would also help
- Knowledge of Networks & Cisco technologies would be an added advantage
- Experience with VEEAM or other backup products
- Experience with container platforms will be desired and experience with setting up teams for container support will be added advantage
- ITIL or other IT service management certifications are a plus

Logistics automation co Vanderlande opens India Innovation Centre in Pune. Vanderlande India is the company's second-largest technology hub globally. Vanderlande, a logistics process automation company, has inaugurated its India Innovation Centre in Pune, with a focus on India's engineering, innovation, and technology talent ecosystem. The new centre will serve as a collaborative hub for developing next-generation automation solutions across warehousing, airports, and parcel operations for Vanderlande's global customers.
Vanderlande wins contract to supply SPOX sorter for DHL Express facility in Cologne. DHL Express Germany has awarded Vanderlande a contract to provide automation solutions - including the SPOX sorter - for its new facility in Cologne. The agreement was signed on October 21 at Parcel+Post Expo 2025 in Amsterdam. This will be the first time this sorter has been installed at a DHL facility. Able to sort 6,000 items per hour, SPOX will allow DHL Express Germany to handle a mixed flow of regular and small parcels in the Cologne facility - including those as thin as 5mm. The sorter has been designed and built with sustainability in mind. When components wear out, they can be refurbished and then reintegrated into the system. In addition to the sorter, Vanderlande will provide two chutes, nine truck outfeeds and three van lines. It will also implement its PACE Sort sortation control software. This delivers secure host integration and advanced sortation logic to help manage complex parcel flows. It will reportedly be the first time this software has been installed at a greenfield site for DHL Express. "This contract win reflects DHL's trust in Vanderlande and shows the strength of our longstanding partnership," said Markus Ehrmann, executive managing director of Vanderlande. "We're delighted to be installing SPOX, our unique sorting solution that has been manufactured according to the principles of circularity, and that provides customers with improved flexibility and accuracy." "Vanderlande's solution will allow us to handle the parcel flow with increased efficiency, along with the ability to sort a diverse range of items," added Christian Knieps, director of engineering at DHL Express Germany. "As ever, our team will be working closely with Vanderlande through the installation phase to ensure a seamless integration before go-live, which is set for September 2026."
Vanderlande has been selected by Kmart to automate its new logistics facility at the Moorebank Intermodal Precinct in Sydney.
Copenhagen Airport has awarded Vanderlande a contract to deliver 20 automated screening lanes with central image processing as part of a major revamp of its passenger checkpoint process.
T-Hive and Vanderlande are working together to develop an autonomous outdoor baggage handling system, to be used at the airside of Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
