TravelTech Show, Business Travel Show Europe name 2026 innovation award winners.

TravelTech Show, Business Travel Show Europe name 2026 innovation award winners. Arcube, ImpersonAlly, Acai and Nowadays were recognized this week as winners of travel technology competitions held at TravelTech Show and Business Travel Show Europe. The co-located events took place this week at Excel London. TravelTech Show named Arcube the winner of its 2026 Trailblazer Awards. Based in Manchester, Arcube provides a platform that gives airlines access to more than 16 ancillary products through one integration. "We help travel companies sell travel extras, things like lounges, eSIMs, car rentals, in a much simpler way," said Arcube CEO Prithveesh Reddy. "They don't need to spend years trying to build this themselves. Instead, they could do it in weeks and generate a new stream of revenue." Reddy said the recognition is expected to help the company attract new partners and investors. "This win will bring us a lot of inbound from potential partners who want to use our technology, but it's also great to speak to some of the investors in the room," he said. "As we continue to scale, we will need growth capital, and being recognized by an institution like this goes a long way in the travel industry." In addition to the award, Arcube will receive a complimentary stand and speaking opportunity at TravelTech Show 2027, a startup ticket to Phocuswright Europe 2027 and mentorship from the judges. The Trailblazer Awards featured a "Dragons' Den"-style showcase in which entrants pitched their businesses to a panel of judges. The companies were judged by Pete Comeau, managing director of Phocuswright; Suzanna Chiu, head of Amadeus Ventures at Amadeus IT Group; Andreas Nau, partner at Ennea Capital Partners; Kimberly Newbury, vice president of Global Travel Technology Group and Roopak Pati, managing director of investment banking, technology, media and communications at Oppenheimer. The TravelTech Show People's Choice award went to ImpersonAlly, whose AI-driven platform helps companies identify and combat online brand impersonation, phishing attacks and misinformation across multiple channels. The other finalists were Cumbaya, Drifter, Hotelblock.ai, Kudos Travel Technology and Rebookify. Business Travel Show Europe Innovation Faceoff 2026. The competition featured nine companies showcasing technology designed to solve challenges facing corporate travel buyers and meetings professionals. "Winning the Trailblazer Award last year changed our business trajectory in ways we didn't fully anticipate," said Ron Glickman, head of sales at Acai. "Winning the Business Travel Show Europe Innovation Faceoff this year means what we've built since then, and what we're about to show the industry, has genuinely moved the needle." The Innovation Faceoff was judged by Andy Hoskins, editor-in-chief of The Beat; Keesup Choe, CEO of PredictX; Benjamin Park, executive director of travel and sustainability at Parexel International and Carine Morin, regional travel manager, EMEA, at ServiceNow. A highlight in the show's action-packed two-day line-up, nine of the most pioneering startups and scaleups will take the stage to pitch bold, game-changing solutions to industry leaders and a live audience of corporate travel decision-makers. The winners, including the Business Travel Innovator and the People's Choice award, will be announced on Wednesday 24 June at 11am at the Business Travel Show Europe Knowledge Arena. The final four entrants taking to the stage during the show are: KAYAK for Business claims to redefine corporate travel by making it simpler and faster to plan, book and manage work trips for companies of all sizes. For many businesses, booking a trip can often feel like a second job - juggling budgets, cross-referencing policies, and having to manually deal with negotiating budgets, rates and availability when plans change which can often take up too much time and drain resources. KAYAK for Business is powered by a leading travel search engine and direct supplier connectivity to fix some of the biggest frustrations in travel planning, booking, servicing and deliver smarter, faster outcomes and peace of mind for every trip and traveller. Head of commercial Florian Mueller details the company's ambitions: "We're scaling KAYAK for Business globally with support for 29 languages, several global programmes we're onboarding now and adding to our team. It's our first time exhibiting at Business Travel Show Europe. We cannot wait to connect with buyers and tell them about our plans to transform business travel planning and help them do what they do best, even better. We know we have a strong product; winning such a prestigious event as the Innovation Faceoff would further validate that KAYAK for Business is re-shaping corporate travel and help us get that message in front of the buyers we haven't met yet." Winner of the co-located TravelTech Show Trailblazer Award in 2025, Acai will be heading to Business Travel Show Europe hoping for similar success at the Innovation Faceoff this year. An AI platform that automates travel operations for travel management companies and travel agencies. When a flight changes, a ticket goes unused, or a traveller needs support, Acai reads live booking data and resolves the issue in real time. It can manage up to 70% of the operational workload without agent intervention to deliver faster resolutions, consistent service quality, and measurable improvements in traveller experience. Ron Glickman, head of sales comments: "Winning the Trailblazer Award last year changed our business trajectory in ways we didn't fully anticipate. Winning the Business Travel Show Europe Innovation Faceoff this year would mean what we've built since then, and what we're about to show the industry, has genuinely moved the needle." Seatcash will present FareX.ai: a predictive intelligence platform for airline travel, helping business travellers, corporate buyers, and meeting planners make smarter air purchasing decisions and secure significant savings on their airline spend. Co-founder Chris Amenechi explains: "Business Travel Show Europe is the opportunity to showcase our company in one of the most sophisticated travel markets on the globe, evangelise our mission and build relationships with the key players one on one. Winning the Business Travel Show Europe Innovation Faceoff would be a key milestone in our journey." The AI-powered platform is transforming how global organisations manage in-person meetings, events and group travel. Covering the end-to-end meetings, events and travel journey including sourcing and booking to approvals, attendee management, travel coordination, and reconciliation, its coordinated ecosystem of AI agents seamlessly connects data and actions. The result brings meetings and travel together into one connected experience to reduce manual work, qualify faster, better informed decisions and enhanced policy compliance. Charles de Gaspe Beaubien, founder and chief commercial officer says: "Europe is becoming increasingly strategic to our growth, representing up to 60% of the business for some of our global customers and partners. Winning would provide an incredible opportunity to share our vision and story with a broader audience while increasing awareness of the innovation happening at Groupize." Acai adds Lumo predictive capabilities to AI agent.

Acai adds Lumo predictive capabilities to AI agent. AI platform Acai Travel has integrated disruption prediction capabilities into its AI Travel Agent via a partnership with Lumo, the companies announced. News - analysis - podcasts - reports With the integration, travel management companies can identify which travellers are most likely to face disruption, using Lumo's predictive analytics. With those trips flagged as high-risk, Acai's agent tool can interpret fare rules, find applicable waiver codes and reach out to travellers with recommendations as well as execute exchanges and cancellations. The integration works within such TMC service environments as Genesys and Dialpad, so it can support travellers through email, chat, SMS and voice, according to Acai. "Lumo's technology gives airlines, TMCs and [online travel agencies] a clearer view of what is likely to happen," Acai head of sales Ron Glickman said in a statement. "What makes this powerful is that Acai AI Travel Agent can immediately act on that information. It can prioritise travellers, apply the right policies and communicate across channels in real time." Acai said the integration is available for all its customers, and World Travel Inc. is the first joint customer of Acai and Lumo that is going live with the integration.

Gattinoni partners with Acai Travel to introduce AI agents.

Gattinoni partners with Acai Travel to introduce AI agents. Italian TMC Gattinoni Business Travel has partnered with AI solutions provider Acai Travel to deploy AI travel agents into its operational workflows. News - analysis - podcasts - reports The implementation will help Gattinoni's employees "resolve complex travel requests faster" by offering real-time assistance to analyse post-booking requests. This will initially follow a co-pilot model, the companies said, with Acai's AI agent capable of interpreting fare rules, travel data and operational context to provide "actionable recommendations" for the human agent to then communicate to the traveller. Moving forward, the AI agent will be able to fully resolve certain "high-volume, low-complexity" requests automatically, the companies said in a statement. Nevertheless, Gattinoni - the sixth largest TMC in Italy, according to BTN Europe's Leading TMCs 2025 report - stressed that the technology has been designed to "work alongside" its human advisors rather than replace them. "AI gives our advisors a powerful tool to manage operational complexity more efficiently while keeping the human relationship with the traveller at the centre of the experience," said Elena Carlino, corporate travel director at Gattinoni. Acai Travel CEO Riccardo Vittoria added: "What we're building together is a model where AI handles operational complexity and advisors focus on delivering great service. In some cases, the AI acts as a co-pilot to the advisor, and in others it will be able to resolve requests autonomously where that improves speed and efficiency." Following its partnership with Acai, Gattinoni said it is the first TMC in Italy to deploy AI agents directly into its customer service workflows, which are powered by Front. While the initial deployment focuses on corporate travel operations, the companies said additional operational areas are "already being evaluated" as part of Gattinoni Business Travel's broader innovation roadmap.
