As our Head of Network Security reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer, you’ll protect a vast network that connects thousands of automotive dealers, technology partners, and manufacturers worldwide.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities [Your Strategic Impact]:

• Partner with executive leadership to architect and drive enterprise security strategy
• Build and mentor a high-performing network security team
• Lead critical security initiatives across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments
• Transform traditional network security into automated, code-driven infrastructure
• Define and track key security metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Security Innovation: Design and implement cutting-edge security solutions while providing strategic guidance to the CISO
• Zero-Trust Architecture: Pioneer the evolution of our network segmentation strategy to meet tomorrow’s security challenges
• Automation & Scale: Leverage infrastructure as code to build security at scale
• Team Leadership: Guide and develop a team of security professionals while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• 24/7 Critical Response: Lead tier 2/3 security incident response for business-critical events
• Strategic Partnerships: Drive collaboration across technology, business, and security teams to implement comprehensive security solutions

Qualifications and Requirements [Your Expertise]:

• 8+ years of network security mastery, including 3+ years leading security teams

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Masters Preferred)

• Deep expertise in modern security architecture, particularly in SaaS environments

• Strong background in: Cloud-native security solutions; SASE and zero-trust architecture; Infrastructure as code and security automation; Enterprise firewall and IDS/IPS systems; Modern wireless security

Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
