About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product & Engineering Operations Analyst! Reporting to the VP of Product & Engineering Operations. You will oversee:

• Budget oversight and management for the Product and Engineering organization
• Oversight of our Software Capitalization in direct partnership with Engineering Leadership, including annual R&D Tax Credit audits
• Internal team communications, including:
  • Curation and management of departmental Town Halls
  • Communicate Product & Engineering processes, procedures and best practices

This role is based in our Culver City office and adopts a hybrid work schedule.

A Day in the Life of our Senior Operations Analyst:

• Define, document and communicate organization processes and procedures with regards to Budget, Contracts and other areas within your scope
• Partner with members of the Product & Engineering Leadership team, and Senior Manager, P&E Operations to define communication gaps, and develop a communication plan and schedule
• Curate and run our monthly Product & Engineering Town Halls; manage the agenda, solicit for topics and themes and emcee the events
• Partner with Product & Engineering Senior Leadership on topics for monthly Company All Staff
• Review budget actuals with Finance and individual team leaders
• Oversee the budget re-forecasting process in direct collaboration with Finance and individual team leaders
• Lead our annual budget-planning processes in direct collaboration with Finance, individual team leaders and the VP of Product & Engineering Operations
• Partner with Finance to make enhancements to our budget management processes and reviews
• Facilitate quarterly software capitalization audits, and annual tax credit audits in direct collaboration with Finance
• Create, monitor and manage Purchase Orders for all contracts
• Partner with Procurement to ensure Purchase Orders are up-to-date, accurate and approved
• Facilitate our internal team contracts process; partner with managers to ensure contracts are properly reviewed and approved by legal, and routed for the proper signatures
• Manage, audit and organize all Product & Engineering contracts
• Audit and manage current Product & Engineering vendors and their primary points of contact

About You

• 5+ years of experience managing complex projects, programs or initiatives through a full project management life cycle
• You have experience developing and managing budgets
• You can handle several simultaneous projects while demonstrating urgency and to drive an overall program to completion
• Experience translating the broader objectives of a program into clear and achievable project scope and milestones that can be worked toward
• You are a team player; you are able to succeed individually but are able to support your teammates when needed, and help them to succeed
• You enjoy putting together documentation and processes that help others to succeed
• You are never satisfied, and are always looking for ways to improve and streamline our processes and procedures
• You care about culture and bring elements of fun and levity into your day-to-day

Pluses:

• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies
• Experience working with products in media and entertainment

About the Team

Our Operations team is the heartbeat of the Product & Engineering organization.  We work together to ensure our department of over 400 individuals can operate efficiently and effectively.  We partner with P&E Leadership to ensure we are supporting the needs of their teams, in addition to the greater P&E organization.
